DDS supports menu display in multiple languages. In most countries English is not the first language, and maintenance engineers often feel more comfortable in their own language. In a stressful situation, where an exchange has developed a fault, revenue is being lost, or phone calls are being dropped, it is one less obstacle to a successful result.

Many of the DDS menus provide clear symbols which are enough to understand their function. Others are clear enough in any language. However, if you select a different language for the DDS, all user-facing menus, warnings, error messages and help is displayed in the selected language.
